Additional Coverage Options

Beyond Medicare and life insurance, here’s what else I can help you find coverage for.

Medicare and life insurance cover a lot, but not everything. These additional coverage options are designed to fill the gaps, and as an independent broker, I can compare options across many different companies to find what fits your situation and budget.

Staying active looks different at every age — the right coverage should keep up with you.

Dental, Vision & Hearing Insurance

Original Medicare doesn’t cover routine dental cleanings, eyeglasses, or hearing aids. A dental, vision, and hearing plan helps cover these everyday costs, from checkups and fillings to glasses, contacts, and hearing aid fittings, so you’re not paying entirely out of pocket for care you need regularly.

Hospital Indemnity Insurance

A hospital stay comes with costs beyond what Medicare or your primary insurance covers, including deductibles, copays, transportation, and meals for family. Hospital indemnity insurance pays you a direct cash benefit for each day you’re admitted, which you can use however you need.

Critical Illness & Cancer Insurance

A serious diagnosis, such as cancer, a heart attack, or a stroke, brings expenses that go well beyond medical bills: lost income, travel for treatment, help around the house. Critical illness and cancer insurance pays a lump-sum cash benefit upon diagnosis, giving you flexibility when you need it most.

Accident Insurance

Accidents happen, and emergency room visits, fractures, and follow-up care add up fast. Accident insurance pays a cash benefit based on the type of injury and treatment you receive, helping cover costs your health insurance doesn’t.

Short-Term Disability Insurance

If an injury or illness keeps you out of work, short-term disability insurance replaces a portion of your income while you recover, so a health setback doesn’t have to become a financial one too.
